Ayurvedic Detoxification

Ayurveda is one of the oldest Indian medicine that offers holistic treatments. Panchakarma is one of the unique specialties in Ayurveda that has been a successful healing therapy. Panchakarma is a simple 5 step process that renews and regenerates the mind and body.   • Purpose of Vamana 
Vamana therapy includes medical vomiting. The doctor will induce controlled vomiting, which will stop after a definite amount of time. It starts with ghee intake and oil abhyang followed by vomiting and ends with a restricted diet plan. It is mainly used to extract the Kapha doshas from the body. Cold and cough are caused when Kapha doshas increase. Sometimes medicines can treat ailments, but if Kapha dosha has increased severely, then Vamana has to performed to throw it out of the body completely. Kapha is situated in the chest region and will be easy to remove. After bringing Kapha doshas in the stomach, vomiting is induced. The duration for Vamana is approximately 13-15 days.
